New Weapon?

Description

I've been wanting to design a new weapon for awhile but have been procrastinating. Hurricane Sydney put me in dark, and canceled my college classes, so I had time to think of an idea. :iconsweatplz:

When I orginally made Harumi her only weapons were puppets and chakra threads. I chose these because they were one of the most conmon methods of fighting for Sunagakure ninjas.
Harumi will still use some puppets but I wanted to give her, her own unique thing to make her more original. I eventually decided on an hourglass themed weapon, since they are somewhat sand related. LOL. Also no canon ninjas used an hourglass; Strangley enough since the Suna symbol is an hourglass (which is where I got the idea).
Originally I thought just to fill it with sand and have her manipulate it using wind-jutsu. Then I realised that her attacks would look too much like Gaara's, especially since it's placed on her back. I settled for Chakra in its raw form instead.

Feedback on it would be nice since I'm not sure if I'm keeping it or not. Forget it, you guys never comment anyway. LOL

Me again ^^; you'll be telling me to bugger off soon (sorry)

Like you said in the description about it at first concept being too much like Gaara I thought the same at first glance. It's a nice idea though I bet it would be mesmerising to watch the chakra swirl around (and I'm wondering why Kishi himself hasn't thought of anything similar he made the sand symbol an hourglass for fudge sake silly man).

Does she manipulate the chakra out of the glass and "wield" it like a physical whip as an extension of her arm or does it stay in the glass but rise out like tendrils?
